Papers relating primarily to Bath, N.Y. and vicinity include clippings, 1838-1920; photographs; deeds; scrapbook of William H. Shepard, 1860; and personal letters, commissions, and appointments, 1803-1895. Included are letters and documents on the district schools, overseers of the poor, and the local militia. There are also two volumes of roll books for 1868 and an account book for John Winter's Coffee Shop, 1849.
